Phillip Renaud's career as an artistic interpreter of the world around him formed early as a young man growing up surrounded by the northern praire, forests, mountains and lakes around Edmonton, Canada. With contemplation and experience, vision flowed through the hand and brush in sure celebration of nature. These are intimate stories of light found in quiet forests and illuminating the poetry of form.

Now based in Chicago, Mr. Renaud continues a long career as artist and teacher, his work in many publications and exhibited internationally.
